Meanwhile, in that material, I kept silent about the fact that the Prima body is universal: with minor changes, the &#8220;industrial technicians&#8221; mount it on the Granta and Largus! What is the result? And now I'll show you! Let's start with &#8220;Grants&#8221; (more precisely, with a VIS-2349 semi-frame pickup truck based on &#8220;Grants&#8221;):<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/auto.inform.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/post-243138-6250a31e67aa3.webp\" data-rel=\"lightbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"SDStudio-light-box-enable SDStudio-editor-tools-md-imp\" src=\"https:\/\/auto.inform.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/post-243138-6250a31e67aa3.webp\" alt=\"A new incarnation of &quot;Lada&quot;: Granta and Largus with huge bodies\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/auto.inform.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/post-243138-6250a31f7b761.webp\" data-rel=\"lightbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"SDStudio-light-box-enable SDStudio-editor-tools-md-imp\" src=\"https:\/\/auto.inform.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/post-243138-6250a31f7b761.webp\" alt=\"A new incarnation of &quot;Lada&quot;: Granta and Largus with huge bodies\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In advertising booklets, such a car is called Lada Granta Prima, and it is certified as Prima KUB, type LG00. In the photo above, it is shown in the simplest variation &#8211; a manufactured goods van. The cargo compartment here has neither insulation nor inner lining, but the body turns out to be very light and spacious. Actually, the parameters of its cargo capacity are perfectly readable in the photographs: 6.7 cubic meters and 900 kg of payload (of course, the last figure is together with the weight of the driver and passenger). Solid? Highly! These are the indicators of the Gazovsky Sobol!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/auto.inform.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/post-243138-6250a32094939.webp\" data-rel=\"lightbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"SDStudio-light-box-enable SDStudio-editor-tools-md-imp\" src=\"https:\/\/auto.inform.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/post-243138-6250a32094939.webp\" alt=\"A new incarnation of &quot;Lada&quot;: Granta and Largus with huge bodies\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At the same time, no &#8220;cargo&#8221; restrictions apply to such a &#8220;Grant&#8221;, because its gross weight is only 2.1 tons. That is to say, you can drive 110 km \/ h along the highway (if, of course, the power of an 87-horsepower engine is enough), you can drive in the left lane of multi-lane roads, you can drive to the center of Moscow and on a cargo frame. That's just\u2026 I can't help but wonder: can Granta manage such a load in general, even if it's half-frame?! Apparently, the &#8220;promtehovtsy&#8221; also have some doubts about this, therefore, on all demonstration samples, they installed additional air springs between the rear suspension springs and the half-frame spars. True, there is not a word about these air springs in the current Vehicle Type Approval&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/auto.inform.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/post-243138-6250a321cda6c.webp\" data-rel=\"lightbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"SDStudio-light-box-enable SDStudio-editor-tools-md-imp\" src=\"https:\/\/auto.inform.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/post-243138-6250a321cda6c.webp\" alt=\"A new incarnation of &quot;Lada&quot;: Granta and Largus with huge bodies\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Actually, as in the case of the Niva, the Prima body on the Grants chassis can have different versions and different overall dimensions. Below are just a couple of alternative <a href=\"\/recomendet-appsumo\" class=\"sds-arl\">design<\/a>s:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/auto.inform.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/post-243138-6250a3233a586.webp\" data-rel=\"lightbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"SDStudio-light-box-enable SDStudio-editor-tools-md-imp\" src=\"https:\/\/auto.inform.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/post-243138-6250a3233a586.webp\" alt=\"A new incarnation of &quot;Lada&quot;: Granta and Largus with huge bodies\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/auto.inform.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/post-243138-6250a324520d7.webp\" data-rel=\"lightbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"SDStudio-light-box-enable SDStudio-editor-tools-md-imp\" src=\"https:\/\/auto.inform.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/post-243138-6250a324520d7.webp\" alt=\"A new incarnation of &quot;Lada&quot;: Granta and Largus with huge bodies\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And now let's move on to Lada Largus Prima. For the Promtech company, the construction of any Prima based on the Largus is a much more laborious process than in the case of the Granta or Niva. Guessed why? That's right, because there is no commercial semi-frame chassis in the Largus family! So the Nizhny Novgorod people first have to redo the serial Togliatti van Lada Largus VU themselves. Everything that is behind the rear wall of the cab and above the level of the wheel arches is cut off from its body. The &#8220;rudiments&#8221; remaining from the rear side doors of the cargo compartment are sealed tightly or removed, and the rear overhang is almost doubled. And further on, the Prima body with a spatial frame made of aluminum profiles and composite panels is mounted on the resulting &#8220;platform&#8221;. Below I will show a couple of examples of such machines. The manufacturer declares for this machine the same payload (900 kg) and gross weight (2100 kg) as for the Granta Prima on the VIS-2349 chassis. And the capacity of the body is declared at all equal to 7 cubic meters. Although I suspect that the real figure will still be a couple of hundred liters less, because the &#8220;Prima&#8221; based on the &#8220;Largus&#8221; has a floor in the body that is not even, but has protruding wheel arches, and the gas tank neck at the right wall eats up some more space. Well, once again I remind you that all the metal-plastic furniture for these ambulances is made at Promtech on their own.<\/p>\n<p>These unusual cars will soon appear in Lada dealerships.
