Russian car enthusiasts were able to get acquainted with the Luxgen 5 sedan by the Taiwanese company Luxgen in August 2012 at the traditional Moscow International Motor Show. At the same time, the Luxgen 7 crossover SUV was also presented with it. Prior to this, brand 5 had already been introduced into the house, in the spring of that year. To fully appreciate all the features of the newcomer, you need to go back a year earlier, in 2011 at the Shanghai Auto Show, where it was exhibited Taiwanese concept electric sedan Mark Neora EV.<\/p>\n

Sales of the new Luxgen 5 sedan began in China in July 2013. The new Luxgen 5 sedan model 2013-2014, depending on the engine and the availability of additional equipment, is sold at a price<\/strong> of 108.8-175.8 thousand yuan (approximately 577-932 thousand conventional units). Interestingly, this new product is already available in the Far East recently in Vladivostok, where the Luxgen 5 sedan with a 2.0-liter (170 hp) engine in the maximum configuration (all inclusive) is 1.239 million conditional units!!! Cars are made in Taiwan.
\nI hope that the Russian assembly of Luxgen 5 sedan cars at the Derways plant in Cherkessk will significantly reduce the price of a car for many car enthusiasts. Interestingly, in November 2013, the premiere of the platform with car models Luxgen 5 sedan is a crossover U6 Turbo subway brand, which also plans to sell recently.<\/p>\n

A full charge of the battery is enough to drive about 400 kilometers, you need to keep a speed of 40 miles per hour. Restoring engine performance by feeding the battery to 80% is theoretically possible within 60 minutes.<\/p>\n

The domestic conceptual world of the electric car was completely filled with electronic gadgets as well as neon lights. This allowed Mark Neora to be an excellent advertising tool for the owner of this Taiwanese brand with Yulon Group. The concept did not enter mass production, but produced new Luxgen 5 sedan models with a less flashy appearance and a traditional gasoline-consuming engine.
\nThis was the way to enter the market of the brainchild of a Taiwanese company, which can now be discussed in more detail, for the benefit of photo and video content<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When looking at the front of the Luxgen 5, attention is drawn to the rectangular LEDs at the corners, the large headlights of the head optics, tapering slightly to a trapezoidal grille. Radiator grille with a chrome frame, in the upper part of which is the manufacturer's logo in the form of the letter L, reminiscent of the VAZ badge.
\nThe bumper fairing is the small rectangles of the fog lights. The hood is decorated with a wavy crimp line, the edges of which are numb on the front fenders of the car.
\nA striking detail of the body design<\/a>, the sides have sharply defined edges that start as the contour of the front wheel arches, crossing both doors at the level of the handle and ending at the C-pillar. All this harmoniously fit gently sloping and sloping to the rear roof of the sedan.<\/p>\n

The general design has some oriental orientation, but the overall appearance of the car is very consistent and smooth body contours<\/a>, which made it possible to achieve a drag coefficient Cx equal to 0.28 (fig. sports sedans and coupes). It spoils it a little with an oversized radiator grill, but this will affect the popularity of the model, it will become clear much later.<\/p>\n
