New crossovers 2018-2019 Lincoln MKS, which survived the planned restyling and is ready for the official debut at the Auto Show in Los Angeles on December 1, 2017. In our review of the 2018-2019 Lincoln MKS of the year – photos, price, equipment and technical specifications of the updated crossover, which both platforms are the Ford Kuga brother (sold in America under the name Ford Escape) and the most affordable car in the Lincoln production line. Sales of the updated Lincoln MKS with a new “face” will begin in North America in the summer of 2018 at a price<\/strong> of $34,000, slightly more than the cost of the pre-reform model, currently available for $33,455.<\/p>\n

At the very beginning of our review, I would like to note that the American restyling of the Lincoln MKS compact crossover is cosmetic in nature and, according to the plan of marketers, will at least maintain demand for the most affordable Lincoln brand models. The pre-reform Lincoln MCC is sold rather sluggishly compared to its competitors. By the end of 2016, only 26,000 motorists had chosen the MCC, more expensive crossovers sold much better in the same reporting period. The Japanese Lexus with a price tag of $36,000 was found by more than 55,000 fans, while the German SUV Audi Q5 with a price of $41,500 was chosen by more than 50,000 customers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, the Lincoln MCC present in the model line is not a successful counter to more expensive competitors, but for a different reason. The main goal of most existing Lincoln models is to attract new customers, which is the MCC SUV perfectly (almost 50% of customers are buying the smallest SUV for the first time, choose a Lincoln car when changing from cars of other manufacturers).<\/p>\n
