The ignition switch installed in these cars was obtained from the Fiat sedan, which was the prototype of the &#8220;Penny&#8221; VAZ-2101. Next are the diagrams, as well as the wiring and photos of the ignition locks installed in different LADA cars &#8211; from the &#8220;classic&#8221; VAZ-2190. Particular attention is paid to the model of locks &#8220;2109&#8221;, discontinued several years ago. The battery voltage is applied to the &#8220;30&#8221; contact of the lock, and sometimes uses two lines: &#8220;30\/1&#8221; and &#8220;30\/2&#8221;. She, in turn, interacts with the relay. In different families, they differ only in the scheme, and not in the &#8220;behavior&#8221; of the car when installing the key to the inscription:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Position 0: off;<\/li>\n<li>Mark 1: ignition and engine operation;<\/li>\n<li>Mark 2: when starting the starter;<\/li>\n<li>Mark 3: &#8220;parking&#8221; mode.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>To turn off the engine, the key is moved to the &#8220;0&#8221; position. Candles lose spark, engine stops.<\/p>\n<p>Switch ignition module, Speaking of &#8220;classic family&#8221;, equipped with 5 terminals (see Fig. 2). From the &#8220;2109&#8221; family, this solution is not used. The lock cylinder has several wires connected to the Remote connector.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The pinout of the connector is easy to identify using color coding (see diagram above). When carrying out any installation work, remember the following: you must stop the engine, open the hood and disconnect one of the battery terminals. As a rule, disconnect the &#8220;minus&#8221;.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>Exactly three switching contacts<\/h2>\n<p>One line that draws current and only one ignition circuit &#8211; this solution is typical for all cars, if we are talking about families, &#8220;2110&#8221;, &#8220;2170&#8221; and later. Even the &#8220;grants&#8221; issued in 2012 plus the ignition circuit did not show up. Dozens<\/p>\n<p>Connector &#8220;ten&#8221; has 8 terminals. And &#8220;before&#8221;, as in &#8220;Grant&#8221; and &#8220;Kalina&#8221;, this number was reduced to three (Fig. 2).<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Of the 8 terminals present in the VAZ-2110 connector, the 7th and 8th simply duplicate each other. Two are connected to the button, and the other pair of terminals is connected to the lamp.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Lock connector for all VAZ models, starting from &#8220;2170&#8221;, which has only three contact terminals. And the expansion connector that has a couple of terminals in these cars is connected to the immobilizer.<\/p>\n<p>With the larva of the &#8220;ten&#8221; lock, the label &#8220;3&#8221; disappeared.
