Sales figures for the Jaguar F-Pace crossover in Europe have been declining since 2018. According to the results of the “covid” 2020, dealers sold only 11,026 units, which is 41.6% less than a year earlier. For comparison, in 2017, the model sold 30,920 copies. This year, the SUV on the old-world market turned out to be in the “plus”: in the first half of the year, customers bought 8415 units, which is 51.6% more than in January-June 2020.<\/p>\n

In the future, sales of the model are likely to grow even more. Jaguar has unveiled the latest updates for the 2022 F-Pace. The Pivi Pro infotainment system, which has an 11.4-inch touchscreen and two SIM cards, appeared on the crossover in 2020. The updated version will receive multimedia with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (wireless connection) and an over-the-air software update function.<\/p>\n

Also last year, the Jaguar F-Pace received an ionization and air purification system (for the cabin). Now it will be able to even better clean the air that the driver and passengers breathe: as the company explained, the air scavenging system uses climate control fans and the recirculation function before opening the doors, this allows you to quickly make the air inside fresh. You can set up the function using a multimedia system or a mobile application for owners of British brand cars. In addition, the system is able to supply more fresh air into the passenger compartment on its own, if the CO2 sensor built directly into it gives a corresponding signal.<\/p>\n

The 2022 F-Pace also received a new version of adaptive cruise<\/a> control with an assistant that can steer, accelerate and brake if necessary. In addition, the options list for the British brand's crossover now includes tires with puncture protection.<\/p>\n

Another important addition to the updated version of the SUV is the appearance of a new version – R-Dynamic Black. It is worth noting that this version is currently already available in the “younger brother” – E-Pace, as well as in the sports “two-door” F-Type.<\/p>\n

The “black” version involves a number of changes in appearance. So, the F-Pace received a lot of glossy black elements: a radiator grille, side mirror housings, body linings and air intakes located on the sides of the front bumper. The R-Dynamic Black variant also has 20-inch wheels of the original design and black color, as well as roof rails (for other versions, the latter are available for an extra charge). In addition, the new version of the crossover has red brake calipers, a panoramic roof, other interior trim materials and metal pedals.<\/p>\n

Recall that during last year's update, the Jaguar F-Pace lost its manual transmission and rear-wheel drive modifications: now even the initial versions of the model have all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic. In the line of engines, there are variants of the Ingenium family: a 250-horsepower petrol “turbo-four”, as well as a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel in two boost options – 163 and 204 hp. Also on the list are in-line six-cylinder 3.0-liter engines: petrol power is 340 and 400 hp, and diesel is 300 hp. In Europe, motors are part of mild hybrid installations.
