The first batch was assembled in 1933. Production continued until 1958. The model has undergone many modifications.<\/p>\n<h3>ZIS 101 (prestigious passenger car)<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/auto.inform.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/post-200589-625006d6f2433.webp\" data-rel=\"lightbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"SDStudio-light-box-enable SDStudio-editor-tools-md-imp\" src=\"https:\/\/auto.inform.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/post-200589-625006d6f2433.webp\" alt=\"Old Soviet cars and their prototypes\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Prototype: a car of the upper middle class of the American company Budd Co. Buick-32-90 models. Brandt, Wadd Co. and Hamilton Foundry.<\/p>\n<h3>Time to take stock<\/h3>\n<p>As you can see, in the above list there is not a single Soviet car created by domestic design ideas and built on domestic machines and production lines. All of them were bought in the West and, first of all, in the USA.<\/p>\n<p>What is the conclusion from this? Do we really need to sprinkle ashes on our heads and burn with shame from this fact? In no way. In the engineering and technological plan of the USSR in the 1920-1930s. seriously lagged behind the most developed countries.
