What kind of UAZ 469 SUVs we have not seen, but such an instance can always appear that will surprise you to the core. Today I will tell you about just such an incident, which made me look at these photos in complete silence for several minutes.<\/p>\n

You can call it gypsy tuning, or say hello to Indian trucks. You may find it curious or nauseating.<\/strong><\/p>\n

But one thing is certain: this SUV will not leave anyone indifferent!<\/p>\n

Just look at him. I am sure that the refinement process has not been completed, because there is still too much untouched by the hand of the owner of the place on the body.<\/p>\n

But even what has already been finalized is surprising. Let's start with the front bumper.<\/p>\n

It is based on a regular steel bumper from the 469th, paired with another of the same. As “fangs” used six chrome-plated pipes, three on each side.<\/p>\n

On top of the bumper are elements reminiscent of antique candlesticks for three candles. And judging by the orange caps on top, these are most likely direction indicators or parking lights.<\/p>\n

The radiator grille, on which UAZ COMBAT<\/strong> is written, is generally a work of art. It is completely made of metal and decorated with various small elements, such as a bull's head on top and a beautiful “4×4” inscription on the bottom.<\/p>\n

On top of it is another three-dimensional pattern, which, unfortunately, does not work out well.<\/p>\n

The headlights are covered with a homemade protective mesh made of thick steel wire.<\/p>\n

UAZ received original sills, as well as wheel arch extensions. Homemade caps on wheels, reminiscent of national Mexican hats, also look original.<\/p>\n

Huge mirrors are something, but we'll get to them a little later. In the meantime, look at how the gas tank hatches are design<\/a>ed. They received intricately detailed ornamentation and huge steel rings, as on very old front doors.<\/p>\n

And now the question is: why are there no handles on the rear doors?<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the back we see a bumper made in exactly the same style. It differs, perhaps, in additional elements from perforated iron sheets.<\/p>\n

Spare wheel mounting is original. On the one hand, it is made in the form of a strange steel wheel (see photo above), and on the other hand, it has a ring similar to those fixed on the gas tank hatches.<\/p>\n

Here they are. Rear view mirrors. It is unlikely that once this detail could arouse your interest, but not in this case.<\/p>\n

Before us is definitely a work of art. The cases are hand-welded and decorated with a lion figurine (copied from the Peugeot logo or something?). And below the inscription flaunts – IMPERIAL. Snooty enough for you?<\/p>\n

If you scroll through the gallery, you will see what the mirror looks like from the other side.<\/p>\n

There is a figure of a ram or a buffalo on the bracket, and the cup that attaches the bracket to the door seems to be made from some kind of plate.<\/p>\n

What is the result? In my opinion, this is a very interesting and controversial project. I can't say how I feel about him.<\/p>\n

On the one hand, it all looks, of course, so-so. But if you look at it in detail, it becomes clear that the owner spent a lot of time making these elements, manually tapping out of metal.<\/p>\n

And, at least, it is worthy of respect. But with the style, of course, it is still worth working…<\/p>\n
