Today I want to make some comparison, to speculate on the expediency of buying a particular car. Having run through the models of SUVs that are more or less affordable (we don't take expensive premium cars), I found a car that deserves attention. But recently it has not been selling as well as its price competitor of the same brand. By the way, this is not about the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. He's not bad, but he has a lot of shortcomings.<\/p>\n

What car am I talking about? Oh Toyota! Fortune model. Sales of this model are not up to par. I think that sales are ruined by the Toyota Land Cruise<\/a>r Prado competitor. After all, if a person has money for a new Fortuner, then there will be money for Prado (the difference is small). And stereotypes about the success and popularity of Prado are doing their job. Here, inside the brand, the Fortuner SUV is hard, it is underestimated a little.<\/p>\n

But! But against the background of other brands, especially recently where the market for new cars is scarce, Toyota Fortuner is, in my opinion, the leader. Padjero is inferior in quality, since most cars have problems with paintwork, and the brand is not as high-status as Toyota. And recently, Toyota has been promoting its reliability for years, which still caresses the ears of many, although this is not true.<\/p>\n

In terms of space in the cabin, the Fortuner is more interesting than the Pajero. More places. In addition, this SUV comes with 7 seats, and who else can boast of such, but for such money? By the way, the most basic car can be bought for 2.3 million. But taking a gasoline engine is stupid. Firstly, you will have to constantly refuel this voracious unit, and, secondly, there will not be that high-torque. Diesel can be bought for 2.9 million. Don't believe? Look at the availability of cars at dealers. These are prices without discounts<\/a>, if you bargain, then it is quite possible to drop the dealer by 100 thousand (but not in the regions!). If you need discounts, then go to Moscow. And then in the comments you will attack that no one gives discounts. There won't be any in the regions, where sales are going badly. And in Moscow they take in quantity.<\/p>\n

Pajero will be cheaper by 200-300 thousand with a diesel engine, but in terms of quality it is a definite failure. These Pajeros paint terribly. It was necessary to spoil such a good car with such an attitude. Do you think I'm imagining? Not! Warranty claims for Pajero through the roof, read the Internet. A colleague of mine<\/a> bought a new Pajero for himself and got it with paintwork in the same way. After one winter came mushrooms on the arches. Well, all sorts of little things like a whistling belt pester. And the service just shrug.<\/p>\n

Perhaps Fortuer also has similar disadvantages. But having studied the topics on the forums, the owners could not be found. If you are the owner of Fortuner and you have something to say about the quality, then write in the comments. I do not want to idealize this model.
