\ufeff\ufeffAccording to preliminary data, the new model of the German brand, which will probably be based on the SSP platform, will appear in 2025.<\/p>\n

The Porsche brand is doing well in the European market as a whole. Of course, in the “covid” 2020, the brand had a “minus”: then dealers sold 73,840 copies (5.4% less than a year earlier), but already last year, Porsche managed to return to positive dynamics: buyers bought 74,973 copies units, which is 1.5% more than a year earlier. In the future, the brand will continue to develop its own line. One of the novelties could be a large sedan developed as part of the Landjet project.<\/p>\n

Three companies participate in this project: Audi, Porsche and Bentley (brands are part of Volkswagen). Apparently, each of the parties is developing a specific car, they will probably be combined with a platform and a set of power plants, and each of the automakers will create the exterior design<\/a> and interior trim independently.<\/p>\n

Audi previously unveiled the Grand Sphere concept at the Munich Motor Show last year, which was likely developed as part of the Landjet project. Later, the executive business car is expected to be the successor to the large Audi A8 sedan. But there was not even a hint of what the Porsche model created during this three-way partnership would look like.<\/p>\n

The designer of the Spanish publication motor.es presented his version of what the corresponding new Porsche car could be (the model will receive an official name later). The model is expected to appear in 2025. Judging by the render, the future Porsche will be a large sedan (the publication notes that the length can exceed five meters), which will become the flagship of the electric line of the German brand.<\/p>\n

It is expected that the model will have its own front and rear design, while the design may take into account the appearance of the Taycan electric vehicle. The car is expected to have an aerodynamic body shape, a splitter at the bottom of the front bumper, roof spoilers and a trunk for an electric four-door. Probably, the novelty will have an air suspension.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary data, the new Porsche electric car will be based on the new SSP platform developed by Volkswagen (probably modified for the needs of the sports brand). There is practically no information about the “stuffing” of the future “green” sedan – most likely, the power plant will be twin-engine. The traction battery will be placed between the axles, its capacity is not reported. Probably, the maximum power reserve on a single charge will be about 700 km.<\/p>\n

As we have already pointed out, the brand's current lineup includes the Taycan electric car: the model has already achieved some commercial success. According to the Carsalesbase website, for the “covid” 2020, the model sold 12,332 copies, and for incomplete 2021 (from January to November, more recent data is not yet available), buyers bought 14,206 units (37.8% more than in the first 11 months of the previous year).<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
