We don\u2019t like huge protruding screens and a bunch of numbers that you have to peer into to find what you really need – it won\u2019t take long to get into an accident.<\/p>\n In the Patriot, everything is concise and simple.<\/p>\n Well, stop singing songs of praise, because the UAZ has largely remained a UAZ in operation, which shows, among other things, the need for broach immediately after purchase. After driving through deep puddles at speed, it is better not to brake sharply – probably all UAZ drivers know about this. In general, if a problem with disks appears, then it is also more correct to solve it immediately cardinally – by installing improved ones, there are options and the price of several thousand per pair is quite lifting. We replaced immediately after the break-in.<\/p>\n Yes, and of course, another recommended procedure is grease guns and lubrication of the rear door hinges, otherwise it will soon creak and sag.<\/p>\n Of the additional equipment – we decided to install Webasto to protect the engine during starts in cold weather. As this winter has shown, it was a very correct decision.<\/p>\n We will not write about maintenance work, since there were many interesting and exciting things besides them. UAZ wouldn't be UAZ if it didn't break down at all. With the advent of electronic systems and sensors, new problems naturally came – the errors of these electronic systems.<\/p>\n We got two at once on a run of 12500:<\/p>\n The first is a passenger airbag error, the indicator on the tidy is on, the scanner shows error B1033 (14), Raw code: 903314. The dealer said that this was due to the installation of Webasto.<\/p>\n The second got out in frost minus 20. The fans are working, the devices show overheating, there are no errors on the tidy. The scanner shows – coolant temperature sensor error: P0116 (00), Raw code: 011600.<\/p>\n If you reset the errors with a scanner, the problem disappears. But after a while it may reappear. This detail in the UAZ is another “talk of the tongue.” There have already been three upgrades, each time the plant reports an improvement – and it keeps knocking and knocking.<\/p>\n Another procedure that is also performed by a significant part of Patriotovods is the replacement of door switches. From the very beginning, they didn\u2019t really work on two doors for us. In cold weather, it happens that during the day they thaw, and at night they freeze. Accordingly, in the morning you open the door – but the limit switch does not work and the signaling thinks that since the door has not been opened for 20 seconds – it must be closed. In general, the price of the issue is not high, and the effect of the improved limit switches is worthy – they work reliably.<\/p>\n There is, of course, the problem that there are a lot of such procedures that should be performed to improve comfort and increase reliability, and we have not completed all of them. The result is an antifreeze leak due to the pipes that go to the stove. Many owners change them immediately, without waiting for a leak, which will be guaranteed sooner or later.
