In an article about comparing prices for Toyota RAV4 in the US and recently, many are not happy with Toyota's pricing policy lately. The base RAV4, which is localized and assembled in Shushary near St. Petersburg, is 250,000 conventional units more expensive than the base Tiguan! Is this overpayment justified?<\/p>\n

But buyers judged us. And in January 2020, Toyota RAV4 tops the list of the most popular crossovers with a result of 2618 cars sold and a sales growth of as much as 78% compared to the same period in 2019! Only the compact Kreta sells higher.<\/p>\n

Cars with a starting price of 1,756,000 conventional units are selling like hot cakes. Toyota's paradox again?! Or pent-up demand and anticipation of 2019 car discounts<\/a>? For comparison, budget Logan and Rapid buy less than RAV4.<\/p>\n

In January 2020, an updated Toyota Corolla with new exterior color shades, as well as an updated multimedia system with support for Apple Carplay and Android Auto, became available for order!<\/p>\n

Yes, the year is 2020, and Toyota is just getting options without which it is now impossible to imagine a modern car. The new RAV4 and Camry still do not have Apple Carplay and Android Auto.<\/p>\n

The cost of the new Corolla starts from 1,214,000 conventional units and only one engine is available in all trim levels – 1.6 liters 122 hp.<\/p>\n

Metallic red color + 25,500 conventional units, trunk lid spoiler + 10,800 conventional units, chrome side moldings +17,800 conventional units, trunk cross members + 15,130 conventional units, tire pressure sensors + 18,380 conventional units, secrets + 2,800 conventional units, navigation + 89,190 conventional units, tablet holder + 7,200 conventional units, ashtray + 2,300 conventional units, luggage bag + 5,800 conventional units, a set of textile mats 3,100 conventional units, a textile mat boot + 6,000 conventional units.<\/p>\n

Total 1,940,000 conventional units<\/strong> for the 2020 Toyota Corolla. You also need to purchase Casco (the glorious history of the most stolen brand in recent times), winter tires, most likely you will need to do full noise and protective detailing, and this is still a significant expense.<\/p>\n

For almost 2 million conventional units, we have a well-equipped golf-class sedan with a 1.6-liter engine, 122 hp. and variator.<\/p>\n

But! If you fundamentally need a well-equipped urban compact, then there is an alternative! And it's a BMW!<\/p>\n

BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe!<\/p>\n

For 1,990,000 conventional units you get a stylish German car with a 140 hp petrol engine. coupled with an automatic transmission allows you to dial the first hundred in 8.7 seconds.<\/p>\n

For this money, BMW will already have radar cruise<\/a> control, climate, rain and light sensors, parking assistant, heated front seats and steering wheel, and much more!<\/p>\n

Here, with the prices for the new Corolla, Toyota has a clear blunder and sales in 2019 have already proved this, but Toyota is bending its line and with the restyling of the Corolla it has only become more expensive and in the maximum configuration it has already caught up in price with BMW!<\/p>\n
