Det unga amerikanska f\u00f6retaget Smit Vehicle Engineering (SVE) best\u00e4mde sig f\u00f6r att fixa detta och f\u00f6rberedde en egen version som heter Oletha.<\/p>\n<p>SVE grundades av br\u00f6derna Willem och Kess Smith, som har varit f\u00f6r\u00e4lskade i bilar i allm\u00e4nhet och BMW i synnerhet sedan barnsben. Innan de byggde sina dr\u00f6mmars BMW arbetade och skaffade br\u00f6derna Smith erfarenhet p\u00e5 General Electric, Tesla, Singer Vehicle Design, San Diego Composites och Applied Composites. S\u00e4rskilt anm\u00e4rkningsv\u00e4rt i den h\u00e4r listan \u00e4r Singer-f\u00f6retaget, som genom sitt arbete med klassiska Porsche 911 har skapat ett mode f\u00f6r intelligent \u00e5terst\u00e4llning, vars essens \u00e4r respekt f\u00f6r donatorbilens historiska sammanhang och att f\u00f6ra dess stil till perfektion.<\/p>\n<p>Men SVE Oletha \u00e4r ingen restomod, eftersom den ursprungliga BMW Z8 roadstern inte beh\u00f6vs f\u00f6r att g\u00f6ra den. Den beg\u00e5vade dansken Henrik Fisker, som nu sk\u00f6ter sin egen <a href=\"\/recomendet-appsumo\" class=\"sds-arl\">startup<\/a>, arbetade med modellens utseende, och i stadiet av BMW Z07-konceptet hade hon en version med coup\u00e9kaross, men denna gick inte in i serien &#8211; ist\u00e4llet, ett h\u00e5rt \u00f6verl\u00e4ggstak f\u00f6ljde med roadstern (med en vikbar mjuk fanns \u00e4ven en topp). Till Z8 utvecklade BMW en helt original kaross i aluminiumlegering och V8-motorn p\u00e5 400 h\u00e4stkrafter l\u00e5nades fr\u00e5n d\u00e5varande BMW M5 sedan (E39).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/auto.inform.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/post-215648-6250406e9c059.webp\" data-rel=\"lightbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"SDStudio-light-box-enable SDStudio-editor-tools-md-imp\" src=\"https:\/\/auto.inform.com.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/post-215648-6250406e9c059.webp\" alt=\"SVE Oletha: kolfibercoup\u00e9 inspirerad av BMW Z8 roadster\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>SVE s\u00e4ger inte vilken bil som blev donator f\u00f6r Oletha, men att d\u00f6ma av fragmenten av instrumentpanelen som \u00e4r synliga p\u00e5 bilderna (utvecklarna publicerade inte separata bilder av Olethas interi\u00f6r) \u00e4r detta BMW Z4 Coupe fr\u00e5n E86 generation &#8211; en modell som \u00e4r mycket mer spridd och mindre v\u00e4rdefull f\u00f6r samlare av bilklassiker \u00e4n BMW Z8.<\/p>\n<p>Givarkroppen fick en helt ny fj\u00e4derdr\u00e4kt i kolfiber i stil med BMW Z8, och den tekniska fyllningen \u00e4r ett hop. Under huven finns en bensinsugen 4,4-liters V8 (S65B44) fr\u00e5n E90-generationen BMW M3, som var utrustad med ett nytt kolfiberintagssystem och ett avgassystem i rostfritt st\u00e5l. Bromsar \u00e4r fr\u00e5n AP Racing med Radi-CAL smidda bromsok. Fem-tvillingekrade smidda hjul inlindade i Michelin Pilot Sport 4S-d\u00e4ck.<\/p>\n<p>Utvecklarna h\u00e4vdar att tack vare kolfiber och ett stort antal delar gjorda av 3D-utskrift \u00e4r kroppens vridstyvhet 30 000 Nm \/ grader, och tj\u00e4nstevikten f\u00f6r Oletha \u00e4r 1402 kg, det vill s\u00e4ga n\u00e4stan tv\u00e5 centner mindre \u00e4n original BMW Z8. En justerbar elektrisk spoiler \u00e4r integrerad i aktern. I kup\u00e9n kan du v\u00e4lja mellan bekv\u00e4ma s\u00e4ten med \u00e5tta justeringar eller sporthinkar p\u00e5 kolfiberram.
