Acura TELEXA 2018 – high-tech business sedan
The novelty of the Japanese company Acura has added the Acura TLX models for 2018-2019, presented at the New York Auto Show 2017., a bright representative of the premium segment of mid-size sedans. Sales of the new Acura TELEX in America will start at the beginning of this summer at a price of 32,500-33,000 dollars, slightly more than the cost of the pre-reform Acura sedan as tlh was offered for 32 thousand dollars.
The facelifted Acura TLX sedan has a more modern look with an all-new front body formed by a chic pentagonal grille adorned with a scatter of diamonds and a large company logo, redesigned Jewel Eye LED headlights, LED taillights, new bumpers and a hood with brighter relief, a different bumper with good sized air intakes with stylish fine mesh.
The new Japanese business sedan is offered in two main trim levels: Acura TELEXA in a special version of cars for young buyers with an aggressive exterior design, large round foglights, huge exhaust tips and a solid diffuser size (white sedan in the photo) and Acura TELEXA B6 (red sedan) with a more relaxed appearance, an abundance of chrome parts for older drivers.
In this case, both works look like real hooligans. I wonder if this will allow the Acura model to at least match the sales of its main and eternal rival, the Lexus S. For reference, in the last 2016 Lexus ES sedan in America, more than 58 thousand copies were sold, and the pre-reform Acura TLX model was chosen by just over 37 thousand motorists.
The interior of the updated Acura sedan has changed minimally, but the manufacturer claims the presence of more modern equipment. The standard ODMD 2.0 multimedia system has been upgraded to provide 30% faster multimedia connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a pair of 7-inch color screens are more receptive to taps.
Also in the basic configuration of the updated sedan will present a set of AcuraWatch safety systems, which includes collision mitigation braking system with automatic braking system, Aksenovo, forward collision warning and lane keeping Assist, adaptive cruise control with low speed follow, road softening departures.
The updated Acura TCX is the only car in the class equipped with standard equipment. Competitors offer the same set of security systems, only for a fee. The interior also pleases with high-quality materials and neat assembly: leather and Alcantara, natural wood and polished aluminum.
