Changhe 2018 V7 Crossover Range Rover Style

Sales of the new Q7 SUV from Changhe in China will start in early 2018 at a very attractive price of 90,000 yuan (about 800 thousand).

The new crossover from China Changhe Q7 with a bright body design in the style of Range Rover models, a 5-7-seater saloon with a large set of modern equipment and a turbocharged 150-horsepower engine was developed by Changhe Motor specialists exclusively for the Chinese market.

Despite the fact that the new Chinese Q7 crossover received from the Changhe brand name will not appear in the current market, we decided to devote a new full commentary. And how can you ignore such a stylish, cute and bright crossover. Especially since once again a Chinese manufacturer launches a new product with a clear forecasting and appearance to the local market.

Tracing does not say, but only a cursory glance at the body of the Changhe V7 in order to understand that the Chinese designers, creating models of the image took inspiration from the premium SUVs of the British manufacturer Land Rover. How else to explain the presence at the front end of the new Chinese crossover radiator grille with curly weaves like Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover Velar, like headlights, side lights, side lights reminiscent of Land Rover Discovery, and other body elements.

One gets the impression that the creators of the Changhe B7, admiring the British SUV, tried to do something similar, and to be honest, they succeeded. By the way, Changhe motor designers are not as simple as people gave way to the Chinese market for the Landwind X7 crossover (a clone of the Rover Evoque range), but originality unfortunately does not shine. We will leave it to the conscience of designers, developers and all specialists in general to create a novelty, the fact of plagiarism… in the end, the car is not to blame.

The new Chinese Changhe B7 crossover was surprisingly attractive, harmonious and stylish. Changhe removing stickers on the hood and tailgate is very difficult to determine the origin of Chinese cars. All details and parts of the body are organized into a single harmonious picture.

A large radiator grille with an abundance of chrome, neat headlights with LED strips along the lower edge, massive bumpers, swollen fenders and doors, huge wheel arch cutouts, a high window sill line of compact side windows, a roof line and stylish kitchens with bright LED lights, parking lights, original trunk lid and a powerful bumper.

• The external dimensions of the body of the Changhe V7 2018-2019 are 4655 mm long, 1855 mm wide and 1700 mm high and the wheelbase is 2670 mm, and the ground clearance is 190 mm.
• The body weight of the car in order to curb 1460 – 1560 kg.
• For the crossover, only 18-19 alloy wheels are offered with tires 225/55 R18 (Basic) or 235/50 R19 convenience (expensive equipment).

The new 5-7 crossover was announced. Since we are talking about the rear panel, I immediately inform you that the 5-seat configuration, the trunk of a new crossover with a very decent volume and size. Behind the backs of the second row there will be about 530 liters of luggage, while folding the backs of the second row 1150 liters (provided that it is loaded to the level of the windows).

Add to the Arsenal rear-view mirrors with LED turn signal repeaters, electric adjustment, with heating and automatic folding, electric windows, electric trunk lid, keyless door unlocking, 6 airbags, stabilization system, air conditioning, tire pressure sensors, rear view camera and 360 degree bird's eye view, panoramic glass roof, measuring 1170mm to 710mm with power sunroof opening, and cruise control.

Changhe-based Q7 is a fairly modern chassis with a completely independent front (MacPherson strut) and rear (multi-link) suspension architecture, drive, however, only to the front wheels. The power steering is electric, the brakes of all wheels are disc brakes with front ventilated discs.
Under the hood is one non-alternative gasoline four-cylinder engine 1.5 turbo (150 hp 210 Nm) licensed Mitsubishi 4A91T engine. For the turbo engine, there are two gearboxes to choose from – 6 manual transmissions and a CVT variator.
