The new engines are equipped with turbocharging, four valves per cylinder, direct fuel injection and diesel particulate filters. The turbocharged engines have excellent responsiveness at low revs and fully comply with the strict environmental standards of the WTLP cycle. It is interesting that the Renegat became the firstborn of the FCA concern, received modern engines of the GSE family. In the near future, all Fiat, Abarth and Alfa Romeo models will receive the same engines.

Frankly, it seems that the restyled crossover Jeep Renegade has just begun to promote the new turbo diesel engines. Changes in the design of the exterior of the body are low, and even less in the cabin.

The updated exterior of the crossover faces a new false radiator grille and upgraded headlights, a redesigned front bumper with fog lamps changed location and turn signal, white lights on the front fenders, took place in yellow, slightly modified graphics, parking lights, trunk lid, received a handle, and trapezoidal exhaust pipe mounts that replaced the double-barreled exhaust.

In the photo posted in the review, the updated Jeep Renegade crossover is presented in the maximum Limited configuration, as they say, in all its glory. In the basic version, the novelty looks much more modest.

All new details in the interior of the restyled Jeep Renegade crossover are focused on the center console: the Uconnect multimedia system with an 8.4-inch color touch screen, a new air conditioning control unit, niches and a tray for small items on the center console are moved to the floor of the tunnel.
