Losing buyers Nissan Micra hatchback has a new special version of Kiiro
The car of the Japanese brand in this version will be released in a limited edition – 250 copies. That is, two times less than the previously announced Juke Kiiro.
Nissan has been producing the Micra compact hatchback (known as the March in some markets) since 1982, and the model has gone through several generations since then. The current fifth generation car appeared in 2016 (production began in December). According to the website Carsalesbase, sales of the model have been gradually declining since 2018. So, according to the results of “covid" 2020, buyers bought 39,721 units. (39.1% less than a year earlier). In the incomplete 2021 (for January-November), buyers purchased 34,181 units. (6.5% less than in 11 months of the previous year).

Nissan Micra will have a new special version called Kiiro – its circulation will be quite modest, only 250 copies will be produced. Recall that another model of the brand, Juke, has the same version, and its circulation is twice as large. The limited edition of both cars of the Japanese brand is timed to coincide with the premiere of the latest Batman movie. The new special version of the hatch is now available for order in the UK.
The Nissan Micra Kiiro has not received any insignia associated with the character from the fictional DC Universe. However, such a car has several unique elements that distinguish it from a "regular" hatchback. So, at first glance, the bright yellow details located on the front and rear bumpers, as well as on the side panels, are striking. There is an original pattern with the name of the special version on the C-pillar, the tailgate received a rear protective glass, in addition, the model was equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels in high-gloss black.

This Micra is based on the Acenta trim, so the Nissan Vision package is listed as standard: it includes rear parking sensors, a navigation system and air conditioning. At the center of the dashboard is a seven-inch touchscreen multimedia display compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. However, the seat upholstery of this model is plain black, with no yellow stitching, unlike the Juke Kiiro.
The "stuffing" of the new special version of the Nissan Micra is the same as that of the "regular" model. For example, in the UK, the added Kiiro variant is offered with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 92 hp and a maximum torque of 160 Nm. The model is front-wheel drive, paired with the engine is offered either a manual transmission or a CVT.

In the UK, buying a Nissan Micra Kiiro with "mechanics" will cost a minimum of £18,375, with a CVT – a minimum of £19,725. Also known are starting prices for the Juke Kiiro SUV in the same market, starting at £24,350 for the manual transmission version and £25,850 for the DCT version.
