Hanteng X5 2017 – a stylish Chinese SUV

New Chinese crossovers up to 1,000,000 conventional units are stylish, modern and inexpensive Hanteng X5 models from Hanteng auto-da-fe under the control of a Zotye car. In our review, the new inexpensive Chinese crossover 2017-2018 is scanned by the X5 – Photo, price and detailed specifications of the Chinese market. Hanteng new X5 will be available in China with a pair of 1.5-liter diesel engines (112 horsepower naturally aspirated and 156 horsepower turbocharged) with very rich equipment at a price of 59,800 to 106,800 yuan (approximately 530-944 thousand conventional units).

The new Hanteng X5 was a great addition to the fledgling Chinese crossover brand Hanteng X7.

I would like to point out that the Singing X5 compact crossover is built on a platform (with an archaic rear-beam suspension on torsion bars) and is available exclusively with front-wheel drive. However, the Hanteng X5 compact crossover has its own “face” and is a smaller copy of the older Hanteng X7 model.

The front end is attractive, eco-friendly and stylish. Stylish and original headlights with a fashionable pattern are available LED daytime running lights (a pair of half rings in each headlight) a compact trapezoidal radiator grille with a chrome frame and two horizontal beams large but neat bumper with a large lower air intake and stylish foglights are located in fashionable sections and emphasize chrome boomerangs.

On the side of the body, the Chinese compact crossover showcases a full set of current trends in automotive fashion swollen front and rear fenders, round wheel arch cutouts, a charming rib at the level of the door handles, an organic tab at the bottom of the door, a comatose domed roof with a soaring pillar, a neat stern.

The back of the body is also not without style and appeal, as they say, everything is in its place, and the crossover is a good thing to look back on. There are neat and compact LED marker lights with 3D graphics, a large tailgate with glass, a compact, stylish bumper made almost entirely of scratch-resistant black plastic, unpainted, complete with original fog lamp sections.

Although it's a front-wheel-drive pseudoclosure and modest ground clearance, the bottom bodywork is generously protected by plastic overlays (lower bumper, fender flares, sills, door panels and the entire rear bumper).

• The external dimensions of the Hanteng X5 2017-2018 body are 4501 mm long, 1820 mm wide, 1648 mm high and have a wheelbase of 2600 mm and 165 mm ground clearance.
• Front track – 1560 mm Rear track – 1558 mm.
• The weight of the car in running order, depending on the engine, gearbox and additional equipment, is 1381-1497 kg.
• The fuel tank has a capacity of 48 liters of fuel.
• For the crossover offered exclusively 16-17 inch alloy wheels with 205/65 R16 tires and 215/55 R17.

The five-seat interior of the new car makes a good impression, even taking into account the hard, unpleasant tactile plastics in some places and some flaws in the assembly. The interior is spacious and can comfortably accommodate the driver and front passenger, with three sitting in the second row. However, in the rear, especially for people with height above average, there are problems with the placement of the ceiling falls to the rear of the roof, literally presses on the head (the price for a stylish and dynamic crossover body profile).

The photo shows the richest interior of the Hanteng X5, a 1.5 turbo engine and a CVT, climate control, leather trim for seats and door cards, a power driver's seat, heated front and rear seats, an electric parking brake, 6 airbags, ABS with EBD and BAS, ASR and ESP system, front and rear parking sensors, keyless entry system with engine start/stop button, Tire pressure sensors, panoramic surround view system, standard immobilizer with alarm, rear view camera, panoramic glass sunroof.

Also available are a multifunction leather steering wheel, digital instrument cluster, cruise control, an advanced multimedia system with a 9-inch color touch screen (navigation, Bluetooth), a 6-speaker audio system, a platform for wireless smartphone charging, xenon headlights with LED DRLs, LED taillights, electrically adjustable mirrors, heated and auto folding power windows on all doors.

Separately, I would like to note the presence of a mass of electronic security systems: a control system for blind spots of mirrors, a traffic control system in the lane, an assistant when starting uphill and an automatic parking attendant.

The initial basic configuration of the Hanteng X5 is not as richly equipped as the top-end equipment. Seat trim in fabric and imitation leather, 2 front airbags, ABS with EBD, remote central locking, simple dashboard with monochrome screen, on-board computer, 4-speaker audio system (radio, AUX, USB port), air conditioning, halogen headlight lamps, electric windows and mirrors.
