I would like to note that the new Roewe RX3 SUV, with all its external resemblance to the larger RX5 Roewe model, is not as developed and perfect as its older brother. At the heart of the budget product is a simple front-wheel drive platform with front independent suspension (MacPherson) and Semi rear suspension (torsion beam), under the hood of traditional gasoline engines – a 1.6-liter aspirated paired with a 5 manual transmission or a CVT and a 1.3-liter turbocharged in the company with 6 automatic transmission.

A simple low-cost platform that will produce a hybrid version of the Rovi RX3 model, while the senior crossover is available with a hybrid powertrain – the Rovi eRX5. It only remains to add that the Roewe RX5 crossover SUV is very successfully sold in the Chinese market, and at the end of the first half of 2017, almost 120,000 motorists in China chose the model.

This success of the first-born crossover with a transparent cover of the Rowe logo inspired the creators of the novelty to release the second model, and here we have the Roewe RX3 SUV. By the way, creating the appearance of both crossovers, a team of Chinese designers, led by Jinfeng Shao, went through the best school in the design studio of the German company Volkswagen. Perhaps for this reason, Roewe crossovers look like typical representatives of the European automotive industry – stylish, modern, discreet and at the same time noble and respectable.

Body parts are perfectly assembled into a single composition: a solid radiator grille, consisting of solid headlights, complemented by LED corners of daytime running lights, a massive front bumper with rectangular fog lamps, a smooth hood falls in ledges on the front fenders, moderately swollen wheel arches that look stylish 17 -inch rims (alloy rims with original pattern 5 double spokes, shod with 215/50 P17 tires), correct and harmonious proportions with long hood, almost flat roof line, hastily rising in addition to the drip line and neat rear body adorned with trendy LED taillights that are visually integrated into the web.

And I want to say that we have a German crossover, but the abundance of decorative chrome details gives a new Chinese product. Well, like in China, brilliant decor and that's it.

The useful volume and dimensions of the luggage compartment with a width of 880 mm to 1300 mm, a height of 740 mm and 890 mm, a length of 850 mm in the rear rear seat of the second row up to 1700 mm in the rear of the first row of seats allow you to carry a lot of things. The rear seat is divided 40/60, but, alas, the addition forms a smooth continuation of the boot floor.
