Another addition to the range of new Chinese cars is the Way BB7 GT cross-coupe, which debuted publicly in China on August 19, 2019 and is ready for series production and market launch in early autumn. I want to say that the appearance in the model line of the premium brand Wei a crossover with a coupe-shaped body and the forced return to the market of similar cross-coupe competitors in the face of Bisu T7 Borgward BX6, Chang'an CS85 coupe, ix5 Dongfeng, Geely and Skoda Xing-Yue Kodiaq GT. Thus, the Way brand is trying to expand the circle of potential customers and increase sales of its models. Which, by the way, is frankly low demand in the Chinese market, mainly due to very high prices.
The cross-coupe was based on the BB7 crossover, but the creators of the innovation changed not only the roofs of the new model, but somewhat redrawn the front of the body and completely changed the stern.
Crossovers GT and BB7 BB7 are very similar, the view is stance, and the front of the cross-coupe body looks more solid, due to the use of a false radiator grille with chrome trim and the original bumper with huge side air intakes, vertical LED daytime running lights, bright lights and aerodynamics.
