GAC GS5 2018 – Chinese crossover showcased in Paris
The new Chinese crossover in the GAC GS5 is officially presented at the Paris Motor Show in 2018. Creating a new generation crossover GS5, Chinese experts tried to take into account all the shortcomings of the predecessor, and to make the new models more attractive, beautiful, comfortable and high-tech.
The crossover received a new, stylish and organic exterior design of the body, solved in the corporate modern style of the Chinese brand. Front end with large ornate chrome grille, small headlights with LED modules and large bumper with original plastic sleeve, lower air intake and LED foglights.
Build a new generation body in the GAC GS5 crossover looks dynamic and sporty. In the presence of a long hood, disc wheel arches filled with large 19-inch rims (R19 alloy wheels with original design, 235/50 R19 rubber convenience), sporty curves on the doors and body parts down to the rear of the roof aerial fin, based on a floating C-pillar, solid powerful feed.
At the back, it flaunts all the attributes of a modern crossover with a neat trunk with a glass topped with a spoiler, LED lighting garland as a whole, a solid and massive bumper with a metal plastic pad, and pseudo exhaust system pipes.
- The external dimensions of the body in the GAC GS5 2018-2019 are 4695 mm long, 1885 mm wide, 1700 mm (with roof rails 1726 mm) high, 2710 mm wheelbase.
The interior of the new generation of the GS5 crossover is, of course, new and offers a modern architecture of the front panel and center console, comfortable seats in the first row and a comfortable second row of seats, high-quality materials, careful assembly and rich equipment.

The second generation of the GS5 crossover is based on a modern platform with a fully independent suspension architecture (McPherson strut front, multi-link rear), power steering, electric disc brakes on all wheels.
