Gupt Maxus D90 is a competitor for Haval H9

The start of sales of a large size Chinese car of the SAIC Maxus concern on the D90 with a 224-horsepower gasoline 2.0-liter turbo engine is planned to be held in China in early autumn 2017 at a price of about 200,000 yuan. Representatives of China's largest state-owned automaker Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (GUPT), which produces cars under the brand Baojun, Naveco, MG, Rovi and Wulin, proudly declares that the new Maxus D90 is completely original and created by the efforts of Chinese specialists. It's just not clear how the “original” SUV of the SAIC Maxus concern on the D90 looked so similar to the Japanese crossover Infiniti QX60, and the interior of Chinese cars shows a clear resemblance to the interiors of the German BMW. However, the leaders of the global automotive industry “turn a blind eye” to Chinese fakes, especially if you are not 100% plagiarized.

The exterior body design of the Chinese large SUV with SAIC is generally very organic, modern and bright. The front is adorned with a huge trapezoidal grille and a massive bumper, the presence of modern LED headlights and full LED fog lights with LED content.

On the side of the SUV, the body looks solid and representative: a long hood, smooth and concise lines, updated with weak impact bursts, huge wheel arch cutouts, filled with 21-inch wheels (alloy wheels with an original pattern, 265/45 R21 tires), large doors with high window sill, flat roof, good size forage.

The all-wheel drive transmission is controlled using buttons located on the central tunnel next to the automatic transmission handle.
