Lexus NX new generation: equipment and prices

Russian dealers have opened orders for the second-generation Lexus NX crossovers, the real cars are expected to go on sale later this year. The previous model found 45,000 buyers with us and once sold better than its German classmates, with a total circulation of over a million vehicles since 2014.

The new Lexus NX debuted in the summer, and we've already covered this car in detail: the NX hasn't changed on the outside, but has found a new platform and a more modern interior. The En-X has never had diesel engines, and hybrid versions will no longer be supplied to us – in recent years, they accounted for only about 1% of sales lately. Our buyers will be able to choose between three petrol modifications, but the base Lexus NX 200 with a two-liter aspirated (150 hp), CVT and front-wheel drive will appear only next year, and it is not yet on the list.

Now two more powerful versions are available for order, both with all-wheel drive (rear axle clutch) and with an eight-speed “automatic”. The Lexus NX 250 is equipped with a naturally aspirated 2.5 engine (200 hp, 243 Nm), accelerates to 100 km / h in 9.1 s. The NX 350 version is equipped with a new 2.4 turbocharged engine (279 hp, 430 Nm), and the company deliberately did not downgrade it to an economically viable 249 hp. Acceleration time to 100 km/h is seven seconds. The maximum speed for both modifications is limited to 200 km/h.

The initial Comfort package includes leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, steering wheel and windshield, 9.8-inch infotainment system, rearview camera with washing machine, engine start button, LED headlights, adaptive cruise command, power fifth door and 18-inch wheels. The Executive version is equipped with electric front seats and steering column, a 14-inch infotainment screen, a navigation system and a cordless phone charger.

The Premium version features perforated leather upholstery, front seat ventilation, heated rear seat, panoramic roof and surround view cameras. And the Luxury package includes adaptive headlights with a windshield washer, a steering wheel with touch buttons, a key card, a head-up display, a Mark Levinson audio system, 20-inch wheels and an advanced set of Lexus Safety System + electronic assistants +.

The more powerful Lexus NX 350 comes standard with the F Sport package, which includes an exterior body kit, 20-inch wheels, a sporty interior, adaptive suspension and additional shock absorbers in the body structure to dampen vibrations. And the equipment of the F Sport Premium does not quite coincide with the “normal” version of the Premium: there is no panoramic roof, but there is a projector and a Mark Levinson audio system.
