Siemoneit Racing
Seat Leon ST Cupra
Near Hamburg is the city of Stade, where the Siemoneit Racing atelier is located. Its owner Stefan Simoneit can take tuning for almost any car, but most of all he loves the products of the Volkswagen concern. Lately, improvements have been made to the sporty seat hatchback Leon ST Cupra has received a fair amount of horsepower under the hood.
This hot hatch shares a platform with the Volkswagen Golf and Audi A3, but it's a very fast car in its own right. It is equipped with a 2-liter turbo engine with 300 hp. with. and a maximum torque of 380 Nm, which allows you to accelerate to the first “hundred” in 5.8 C and reach a top speed of 250 km/h. But after the engine was in the hands of the mechanics of Siemoneit Racing, it turned into a monster, issuing 521 hp. with. and 620 Nm. To achieve this output-driven with a reworked intake system, a bigger turbocharger and a new intercooler. Also use a more powerful fuel pump and an increased capacity oil pan.
The atelier does not say that the resource is a modified transmission, but we do know that the engine can accelerate to 100 km / h in just 3.4 seconds. It doesn't say anything about top speed. In addition to a more powerful engine, the hatchback received a suspension from a well-known sports company is KW, as well as ceramic brakes from its brother's platform on the Audi RS3. The wheels are also new – forged, 19 inches in size, with efficient tires Michelin Pilot Sport 2 cups. In addition to the wheels, the exterior refinement is lacking. In short, nothing visually says that the character is hiding this “Spaniard” under the hood.
Gemballa
Porsche 911 Turbo S
Atelier Gemballa, one of the most famous former Porsche closers, has fallen on hard times since the death of founder Uwe Gemballa in 2010. However, despite the difficulties, his owner periodically release heavy-duty cars, based on various models of the famous German brand. For example, they recently introduced a heavily modified Porsche 911 Turbo S, renamed the Gemballa GTR 8xx Evo-R.
First of all, they came to the studio, of course, to modernize the transmission – in a 3.8-liter boxer-turbo “six”, which produces 580 hp at the factory. with. and 700 Nm. After the intervention of the mechanics of Gemballa, its power was increased to 818 hp. with., and the maximum torque reached 1098 Nm. This significantly exceeds even the performance of the practically racing model of the factory 911 RTS GT2, which develops 700 hp. with. and 750 Nm. The dynamics are amazing. So, acceleration to 100 km / h in 2.38 C, and up to 200 km / h – 7.5 s. maximum speed 370 km/h. For comparison, the RTS GT2 version accelerates to “hundreds” in 2.8 C and develops 340 km / h and Turbo S indicators and 2.9 seconds and 330 km / h, respectively.
There are too many external changes. The new aerodynamic body kit is made of carbon fiber, which makes the car wider due to the new wheel arches – 30 mm in front and 50 mm in the rear. The front bumper bulges with large air intakes, the trunk lid (where most cars have the hood) has vents and the Stern has a giant fixed rear wing, side air intakes for cooling the power pack, traditionally located in the rear overhang. Racing diffuser included.
