Neuwied is located in the north of Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany. On one of its streets, the head office of the tuning studio Posaidon, working on the redesign of Mercedes-Benz cars. And the company loves to refine not just a model, but the most powerful one, with the abbreviation AMG in the title. So this time, the studio shop received an AMG version of the S 63 convertible in a pre-styling version.
At the factory, under the hood of this convertible is a 5.5-liter 8-cylinder turbocharged unit that develops 585 hp. with. and 900 Nm and allows you to accelerate to 100 km / h in 3.9 s, and also to achieve an electronically limited to 250 km / h. But after the masters from Neuwied conjured over the engine, its return increased to a fantastic 1005 hp. with. and 1400 Nm. To achieve such impressive performance, the mechanics studio wasted engine displacement up to 6.3 liters, installed heavy-duty valve springs, increased compression ratio, modified turbochargers, optimized intake and exhaust systems and put in a more powerful radiator. It has also been upgraded with an automatic transmission. And this is not a complete list of changes.
Of course, the dynamics of the convertible has improved dramatically. So, it now accelerates to 100 km / h in a supercar 2.9 style, and its maximum speed has increased to 350 km / h (also, by the way, is electronically limited, since it can no longer tolerate even a special high-speed bus). But the car did not receive external changes – so that no one guessed that the monster was under the hood. Interestingly, other Mercedes-AMG models equipped with the same power plant can receive the same updates.

In Kourosha, Mansory, the owner-company Mansory from the German city of the brand, likes to remake Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Range Rover, but sometimes domestic cars do not shrink, changing the most powerful modification. Even less often it refers to the tuning of Italian supercars, but now this is exactly the case: the company recently left the gates for a Lamborghini Aventador, which received a number of changes, this is not typical for Mansory.
The fact that usually designers drastically change the appearance of the car so that they become very far from the original image. And often looks much worse than factory copies. But this time, designers Mansory did not change the sense of proportion. Moreover, at first glance it seems that the changes in the design of the supercar are too modest. However, upon closer inspection, you begin to notice many of the details are made of carbon fiber. So, the front bumper and sills have aerodynamic carbon fiber trims, and a new diffuser bristles to "feed".
If you look even closer, it becomes clear that CFRP has done just about everything you can think of. This lightweight and durable material is the roof, power supply cover, trunk, side mirrors, wheels, body lights, and even … wipers leashes. In addition, masonry highlight that the customer’s choice of 15 different types of carbon fibers is available in a variety of colors. All these items can be ordered in body color, although then no one will understand that the owner of the car has spent a lot of money on a carbon body kit.

Company "ABT" The history of Sportsline of the author goes back to the distant 1896, when Johann ABT opened a horseshoe manufacturer in the German city of Kempten Forge. That is, he was actually involved in tuning cars even in the nineteenth century! As for vehicles, their development of the firm began in 1960. And since Ed specializes in Volkswagen models, the brands benefit under his wing. For example, recently experts from Kempten presented to the public a restyled Skoda Kodiaq crossover (after all, Skoda, also a well-known German owner).
At first he took minders. They changed the control program of the 2-liter TSI petrol turbo engine, and its power jumped from 180 to 215 hp. with. The maximum torque has also increased from 320 to 360 Nm. However, the company does not report how much improved the dynamics of the crossover. Presumably, the car began to accelerate to "hundreds" faster with a surplus of 7.8, and its maximum speed exceeded 206 km / h, which develops a copy of the factory. After some time, the author promises to show an update for the 2-liter turbodiesel power.
To make the crossover more attractive to customers, the studio offers various options for wheels, the size of which varies from 18 to 21 inches. As for the body kit elements, they promised to present later as a lowered sports suspension, to turn the crossover into cars that are hard to find even at the borders.
