The most successful Suzuki family crossover, which is equipped with a practical body and an economical engine, according to many auto experts, is the new Suzuki XL7 (Suzuki XL7) 2021 model year, which has a spacious seven-seater interior, a spacious luggage compartment and low fuel consumption. It is this model that we will now consider in today's article.

The production of #Suzuki #XL7 (Suzuki XL7) 2021 is carried out in Indonesia  at a subsidiary of Suzuki. To date, a new model of a budget urban crossover costs from 1.07 to 1.28 million many conventional units, depending on the type of configuration. The appearance of the body of the new car looks like a budget, namely, simply and concisely. Solidity gives a black plastic body kit on the lower part of the perimeter of the body. In front, we see a wide hood, decorated with neat ribs along the edges, large trapezoidal glass of headlights, a black, decorated with a double chrome strip, a false radiator grille, a high bumper, on the lower part of which there is an elongated grid of the central air intake and neat trapezoidal niches for foglights.

The side of the body shows a stylish pattern of sixteen-inch wheels, arched wheel arches, decorated at the bottom and in the middle with pronounced stampings of the door, a flat roof equipped with roof rails, which passes through a powerful rear pillar into a massive aft part.

The aft part of the body looks very solid, showing large L-shaped shades of vertical position lamps, a large rear window equipped with a wiper, a spoiler mounted on the tailgate, a stamping for the license plate framed by a chrome strip, a high bumper, on the surface of which, in vertical niches, additional brake lights are installed.

The body of the new 7-seat Suzuki HL7 family SUV has the following dimensions (dimensions): length – 4.45 meters, width – 1.77 meters, height – 1.71 meters, wheelbase – 2.74 meters, ground clearance (clearance) is 20 centimeters.

The interior design looks budget while concise. The decoration used cheap plastic and fabric. There is not much free space for second and third row passengers. The luggage compartment behind the third row seats has a volume of only 153 liters. The transformation of the seat backs of the third row increases the useful volume of the trunk to 550 liters.

In front of the driver's seat, a simplified multifunctional steering wheel, trimmed from below, is installed, on which we see only a few buttons. The analog instrument panel houses the classic round dials for the tachometer and speedometer. In the middle of the front panel, most of the surface of which is occupied by deflector grilles, a multimedia system screen is installed.

The new # Suzuki # XL7 is offered to customers in three trim levels. In the basic configuration, the crossover is equipped with two front-mounted airbags, a hill start assistant, electric rear-view mirrors, air conditioning, power windows installed both on the front and rear doors.

In the next, richer, optimal configuration, a multimedia system appears that works with an eight-inch touchscreen, climate control, keyless entry, push-button engine start / stop (Start / Stop system) and parking sensors (front and rear).

In the most saturated configuration, a rear-view camera is installed, additional, decorated in aluminum, decorative elements on the surface of the body, visors on the doors and a modern decorative spoiler.

The new Suzuki XL7  is built on a modern budget front-wheel drive platform, which is also based on the Suzuki Vitara XL6 model. Standard disc brakes are installed on the front axle of the car, drum brakes on the rear.

Only one single 16 – valve gasoline  4 – ex -cylinder naturally aspirated DOHC engine  of the # K15B series from Suzuki  with a volume of # 1 is installed without alternative in the engine compartment. 5 liters, 105  horsepower with a torque of 138  Newton per meter.

This Japanese engine is built on the basis of an in-line aluminum cylinder block with a 16 –  valve head. The fuel consumption of the new Suzuki HL7 is as follows: in the city – 7.5 liters, on the highway – 4.9 liters and in mixed mode – 5.9 liters of 95th gasoline per 100 kilometers. For reference, we note that the manufacturer recommends filling gasoline at least 95th, since the compression ratio of the internal combustion engine of the K15B series is 1. 5 equals 10 points.
